Campus Redevelopment
The London & Northern Home counties region of Vinci Construction Building division has been awarded a £30 million contract for the design and construction of a new 14,000m² building as part of the campus redevelopment project at Barnet College.
The new building consists of three storeys high and is organised around a south facing atrium which accommodates escalators, lifts, stair cores and main circulation routes.
A key driver for the design by Frederick Gibberd Partnership has been to provide a building which is flexible in use and adaptable to change through efficient space planning and the zoning of similar activities and environments.
Winchmore Brickwork provide the project with: labour, plant, materials and scaffolding.
