Health and Safety
Realising the importance of Health and Safety in all aspects of the business world, especially construction, we have trained and appointed our own in house, Nebosh qualified Health and Safety Advisor. Our Health and Safety Advisor has successfully completed the Nebosh General Certificate and the Nebosh Construction Certificate so is more than qualified to advise on all aspects of our work.
We are proud to say that 100% of our workforce is CSCS compliant and our Supervisors hold SMSTS or SSSTS training to ensure high levels of safety are always maintained on our sites.

Winchmore Brickwork is mindful of all the duties placed on them by the CDM Regulations 2007 and other relevant legislation applied to our scope of works. To this the company always work towards ensuring that all of its operatives are carrying out their works in a safe and competent manner.
Training not only provides an improved and increasingly competent level of service to our clients but also provides us, at Winchmore Brickwork, with the comforts and knowledge that we are complying with all current and relevant legislation such a PUWER 1998 and MHSW 1999.
Winchmore Brickwork work closely with CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) (www.citb.co.uk) to ensure we get the right training at the right time to suit, separately and together, the individual and group needs of our team. To this end we have in place an annually reviewed training plan with which we work closely with them to maintain, which helps us to promote our emphasis on the significance of the provision of training.

12/05/14- Winchmore Brickwork have successfully re applied for CHAS accreditation and are now waiting on the certificate to arrive in the post!
